Support
The performances of the sequel, The Forests’ Imaginary Trials, dedicated to forests, have been free of charge in Denmark and abroad for the past four years. The intention is to provide open access to information about the ecological crisis, disseminate knowledge about the Rights of Nature, encourage ways of grieving, and engage collectively in new ways of thinking about how to protect and reconnect with the more-than-human world.
This fall 2026, I will perform and give free workshops in Caracas and La Guaira city in Venezuela. I wish to bring some form of joy to some of the 1.8 million people affected by the double earthquake that hit the country on 24 June 2026. Thousands of people died, and thousands more lost their relatives, home and all possible access to economic resource, alongside the ecological crises generated by the disaster and the political turmoil in the country.
The water cycle season which was due to start in 2027 with Flying Rivers, didn’t receive support from the Danish Arts Foundation -my main source of support. Dispite this, I will continue my research on how water and forests are interconnected. I wish to create a ‘live’ film to enter this season, developing some of the ideas produced in “The forests Trial” 2024, with performers as live voices for the film, but this time the audience could become performing voices.
I am also looking for co-partners to further develop the Assembly, our fictional courtroom: a space to think together on how to develop “intimate” laws for the rights of all living Beings and Things.
